I’m getting ready to head to Austin, TX to finish shooting our teaser trailer for “One Hand Clapping.” As you may or may not know we originally shot scenes for this trailer last year in Austin over a period of three days. Obviously we didn’t know we would need to pick up a couple more scenes. Well finally, we got it all together and with a minimal cast and crew, and will spend another day picking up a couple more scenes.

Adam prepping for his new scene

When we cut the original trailer we felt it was pretty good, but we also felt it needed a little extra something. And that is what we hope to provide. Austin is a a great place to shoot, and where I got my start in filmmaking more than 30 years ago. It feels quite appropriate to go back there to shoot.

And as you can see we are needing to do a fair amount of makeup preparation for these new scenes. Our thanks to Heather and Eric for their hard work! (And of course our actor Adam who has to wear these makeup appliances.)

Our plan is to shoot the full feature of “One Hand Clapping” next spring in the Austin area, before the sweltering heat takes over. That should be fun!

For those of you who would like to find out more about the project, go here, and if you want ask for info.

On another note, we recently have had several inquiries about whether we will be doing a crowdfunding program for this project, since that does seem all the rage lately. Originally, we didn’t have that as a part of our financing strategy. However, we have been throwing that idea around, and it looks like we will probably do that. So stay tuned for more info about that on the horizon.
