As of this new writing, we are excited even more to announce that we are in two more film festivals, beyond the two I wrote about a couple weeks ago.
The first one is The Indie Gathering International Film Festival, which is in Hudson, OH. Our screening time and place is Saturday, August 18, at 1:15 pm in Screening Room A at the Clarion Hotel in Hudson. In fact, it will be screening at almost the same time as our screening at the Columbia Gorge IFF in Vancouver, WA, which I wrote about before. So, we will have screenings across the country from each other at the same time. In addition, we will be winning an award here, First Place for Best Family Feature film. Very cool. This will be our sixth award at five different film festivals!
Since there was no way I could be at two festivals on the same weekend, my wife will be going to Ohio to the screening and doing the ‘Question & Answer’ session afterwards at that festival, and I will be at the Pacific Northwest one.
And then today, we just word that we have been accepted into the Marbella International Film Festival in Marbella, Spain, which is on the southern coast of Spain. Looks like this one could be lots of fun, and that will be over five days this fall, October 3-7.
And finally, this coming Wednesday (July 25) at 9:30pm “Dreams Awake” will be screening in Brasov, Romania on a large outdoor screen in the Piazza (Piata) Sfatului, the central square in the middle of Brasov. But I will not be able to make it myself. Instead, one of our co-producers, Susan Johnston, will be there to represent us. We are also looking into the possibility of me Skyping in to do a ‘Q & A’ after that screening. I’ve never Skyped that far away before, but hopefully that will make no difference.
All exciting stuff coming up for our little film! And we would certainly like some of you to make it to these future screenings:
